Care and Storage

  • Plywood should be dismantled, cleaned and stored
  • Steel sheets can be left standing if stabilizer posts have been installed

User Tips for Temporary Grain Storage Bins

  • When harvested in very hot conditions, large capacity bins should be monitored for heating
  • Open the tarp on cool days and allow heat to escape
  • Your grain pile should be well shaped to a point - use a spout on your loader
  • Bin needs to be completely filled to top of the walls.
  • Fold your tarp in 1/2, then work the folded half up and over your grain pile.
  • There is never any need to stand on the grain pile
