Tarpaulins

  • Canadian manufactured
  • Fabric is 6.3 oz. poly weave
  • A silver outside reflects away the sun's rays
  • A black underside is carbon treated which prevents sunlight from penetrating the woven fabric
  • Excellent fit to grain pile
  • Air vent at the peak
  • Rope sewn into the hem-line, with grommets in triple thickness material every 3'
  • Rope for tie down if preferred
Heavy Duty Tarp Option
  • 1 1/8" D-rings spaced at 36" intervals to ensure enough tie-downs to properly secure the large covers
  • 2" webbing sewn into edge hem in addition to the rope and reinforcing patches already standard on other covers. This provides extra strength to the edge of the cover
Care and Storage
  • Tarpaulins should be dried and rolled up as soon as the bin is emptied
  • Plywood should be dismantled, cleaned and stored
  • Steel sheets can be left standing if stabilizer posts have been installed
User Tips for Temporary Grain Storage Bins
  • When harvested in very hot conditions, large capacity bins should be monitored for heating
  • Open the tarp on cool days and allow heat to escape
  • Your grain pile should be well shaped to a point - use a spout on your loader
  • Bin needs to be completely filled to top of the walls.
  • Fold your tarp in 1/2, then work the folded half up and over your grain pile.
  • There is never any need to stand on the grain pile
